❓ Frequently asked questions
Which model years does the decal kit fit?
We produce a precision fit for all 690 SMC-R model years from 2019 onwards. Please enter your model year in the form and – if possible – attach a photo of the bodywork.
Will the film hold up under hard supermoto use?
Yes. Our protective laminate (up to 300 µm) withstands stone chips, curb contact, and boot scuffs. In hard crashes, the film can of course tear – that’s normal and ideally still protects the paint underneath.
How long do the decals last?
With correct application, several years. UV-, rain-, fuel-, and cleaner-resistant. Temperature resistant from −40 °C to +90 °C.
Can I apply it myself?
Yes – with isopropyl alcohol, a squeegee, and a bit of patience. Tank spoilers and the headlight mask have some curves that should be warmed with a heat gun/hair dryer.
Will I get a proof beforehand?
Yes. You’ll receive a personal proof and can request revisions. Nothing is printed without your approval.
Does the decal kit damage the original paint?
No. It actually protects the paint even more. Removes without residue – great for resale value.
Do you make decal kits for other KTM models as well?
Yes – we also produce kits for Duke 125, 390, 790, 890, 1290 and 1390, as well as many other manufacturers. Each kit is an independent design, not official manufacturer merchandise.
