Follow the installation instructions for your stem, fork and headset. The top cap adjusts bearing preload and does not replace the stem clamp. Ask a bike workshop to install it if you are unsure.
There is no single value for every cockpit. Follow the component manufacturers' instructions and check headset play, free steering and secure stem clamping afterwards.

Use the original file rather than a screenshot. Inspect the design enlarged and at its intended print size.
Use a PNG with genuine transparency for cut-out artwork. A white area or a checkerboard saved into the image is part of the artwork and will be printed.
Around 300 ppi at the intended print size is a useful guide. Enlarging a blurry image or changing its DPI setting does not add detail.
Keep names and logos clear of outer edges, mounting holes and areas hidden after fitting. Use readable text and sufficient contrast.
The checkerboard here only symbolises transparency. Screen colours may differ from print. Check accepted file formats and the preview in the editor.
